[R-390] Easter Egg Hunt

Ok, here we go!

Bottom receiver is NOT in BREAK IN mode, but IS in
AGC, I hope it's not tuned to the freq he's
transmitting on

Top receiver IS in BREAK IN mode, RF GAIN is turned
down, this would cause normal for transmit, but you
wouldn't know that unless you had a T-368, even so the
carrier level would show high with the antenna relay
activated, no signal coming in.

BFO on top receiver is ON, I'd say he's using the top
receiver for his contact and just monitoring the
bottom one.

Strangely, the AUDIO RESPONSE on both recievers is in
the WIDE position, not wrong, but no idea why he'd do
that for CW.

The cable on the J38 key is correct, there is a clamp
on the right side of the key to hold it there, the
other end goes to the junction box above his left
shoulder on the wall where all connection INTO the
transmitter are made handy. Its his POSITION that
bothers me, doesn't look comfortable for long periods
of sending, but I'm not going to question it, it may
work for him. I'd think he'd want the key on the
other leg and more support for his wrist.

I"m not 100% sure where the BW switch is on the top
receiver, but I'm sure it is NOT properly aligned with
the markings on the front panel! It might be on 16,
but it might be on 0.1, too.

Just what I see,

Joe
