[R-390] R-390A Black Front Panel Receiver For Sale On E-Bay

I read with interest the current listing on e-Bay of the intelligence-agency-black R-390A receiver which currently has a bid price of $3,000.00 (Item Number 5761820560).  While the receiver has an exceptional outside appearance i.e. front panel painted, knobs painted and a new mil standard cabinet; prospective bidders should request the seller provide pictures of the interior and  rear panel.  To garner top dollar, the R-390A should:

  1.  Operate at the U.S. Government stated performance
       sensitivity standard of < 2.5 uV.
  2.  All subchassis assemblies should be manufactured by
       Motorola.
  3.  Provide full documentation on the repair and alignment.

Otherwise, "buyer beware"!
