On the subject of attaching new parts: I have a Viking II transmitter that
has a very nicely done PTT mod' and the relay and such where attached with
hot glue. I suppose if I ever have to replace any of these parts it will be
a pain but in the mean time I sure don't have to worry about them coming
loose.
