Hi Steve,
I've heard similar rumors, but about 3 years ago a friend and I did a fairly
good search of the place for such a thing and found nothing save for some
open areas where the beast *might* have lived. Others have told me that
there used to be one there but it had been dismantled long ago. Those things
had enormous amounts of copper and steel as well as cabling which has scrap
value.
Then there is also the question that since the Wullenwebber DF network was
run by the Navy (oddly), why would there be one at an Army base?
