[R-390] Depot Dawgs

Hi Barry, thanks for your comments in the R-390 list. I think most of us 
refer to the "Depot Dawgs" with affection as far as the R-390A's go. I can 
appreciate the quality control that goes into the depot repair process. I think the 
point was that if someone is asking $3500 for an R-390A then it ought to be in 
absolutely mint condition as if it came from the factory. If it is a mix of 
parts from different manufacturers then it couldn't really be the same as if it 
was like new and came from the original factory, as far as the collectors are 
concerned. Of course operationally it shouldn't make any difference. Lighten
