[R-390] What happened to all the NOS parts?

Well, there are a lot of people with a lot of R-390, R-390A's and spare  
modules, parts etc. gathering dust, out there. I know of many with 12-20  
receivers and spare modules etc. 
 
My thoughts are that they will not increase much in value, the generation  
coming up now couldn't care less about "our" technology. Those who have lots of  
it should consider giving their families a break and sell while the selling 
is  good.
 
I'm not looking or trying to sell, so I have no stake in my opinion.
