I think Roy is trying to upstage Joe Foley for the title of "Head  Beehive

Let me see if I understand powder coating, in  simple terms:

(After you do what Hank says, above)
... the powder  gets glommed onto the piece by electrostatic charge, and you 
bake it to  make it hard.

Issat right?

This reminds me of the recipe for  elephant soup:

First get some elephant.
Then you put it in a pot,  add vegetables, season to taste,
and simmer till done.

Now, that  *sounds* simple enough...
