For any kind of fast band switching this has to be a poor solution. I
suspect they have some way to bypass the preselector in that case. Sort
of like a Harris RF-551 / RF-590 combo with the ability to bypass the
551.
I bet they have a ROM and a position sensor on the slug position shaft.
Totally novel and inventive - unless you have seen an R-391 or an ART-13
First tuning is good, then tuning is bad, now tuning is good again.
Gotta go find that bottle of Tequila and get my head straight ...
