[R-390] New Advance in Modern Technology

I just can't help my self .....

I'm sitting here reading an ad for a radio that probably costs more 
than a new car. It's a Yaesu FT dx 9000D. One of  the major claimed 
advances in this radio is:

"Three permeability-tuned, motor -driver "u" RF Tuning modules with 
Q>300, for ultra-sharp RF selectivity found nowhere else in the Amateur 
Radio industry"

Gee I wonder if I can find any other radios around here with coil racks 
in the front end....

Seems like the world is finally re-learning what they already knew > 50 
years ago.

I wonder if 6C4 front ends are going to make a come back when they 
break the $20,000 barrier.

Like I said I just can't help myself ... somebody get a net ...
