Ken,

The 12BH7 mod jumpers pins 2&4 and 5&7 underneath the 3TF7 tube socket.  
It works very well if your ballast tube dies.  I can't tell any 
difference.  Just check continuity between these pins from the top with 
the tube pulled to see if you have it installed.
