The book was R-390/URR - R-390A/URR Handbook written by Paolo Viappiani. It
was originally published in 1996. Written in Italian. Over the years I have
been in touch with Paolo and he is finally going to have it printed in
English. He is editing the book and adding some newer information. Some of
those modifications had the product detector mounted on the audio deck.
Several of those modified R-390A's were in the St. Juliens Creek pile.
