Ken,

I have a restored Gurnow that wintered about 30 years in a Michigan barn.
It has a wood case and steel chassis.

The cold did not do it any more harm than the flood waters did.

You have to do what you have to do to save it from the dumpster.
Put it up off the ground on a block or two.
