There is no oil in WD-40, it isn't a lubricant of any
kind, neither shows on the can anywhere.
The only thing I use if for is to dry out wiring which
is its intended purpose. But it also leaves a nice
shine on cast iron surfaces like the table saw or band
saw, apply with the wire brush on the grinder,....
nice!
But keep it out of the electronics shop.
