[R-390] re: The ultimate heresy?

Years ago, Nolan Lee went through his EAC R-390A and
checked everything down to the resistance of each wire
in the interconnecting cables! He found "lots" of
faults, most minor, some major (like unsoldered
grounds!). He did not strip out the modules and
rebuild them from the 'ground up' as you describe. He
did replace a mess of resistors and capacitors though.
