[R-390] Black 390A's

All of the ones I have seen that appear to be original are Motorola. Of  
course, many hobbyists have "rolled their own."

I believe some NASA, FCC and FAA  receivers have popped up.  It is plausible
that a civilian agency  simply said "make 'em black for us," but I doubt that 
an
Army inspector  would go out on a limb and accept black radios for the 
military.

Les,  aren't most of these black ones Mot?
