My EK-07D only cost me about a week of work repairing a pile of them
for the German Consulate in Dallas TX about 25 years ago. They had
about 15 radios with only 5 working but in need of alignment. So I
got them 10 working radios, one for a test fixture, and three
complete sets of spare parts. My charge was one working radio from
the batch. I was in Oklahoma at the time still in the Army. They
delivered and picked-up. I spent about three and a half weeks over
all going thru the radios in my spare time.
