[R-390] Receiver Comparison

I have seen comparisons on the list of the R-390 with R-1051 and Sp-600 and
some others.
I have never seen mention of the AN/WRR-2A of AN/FRR-59A.

Has anyone had any experience with these and how they might compare with an
R-390?
For those who may be unfamiliar with these receivers, they are large two
deck vacuum tube sets
that were used by the Navy.  They are synthesized and use different IF
strips for AM, USB, and LSB.
