[R-390] Line Noise

Buzz,

The waveform is a classic SCR switching waveform, as from a
cheap light dimmer. If the load is large enough, it doesn't
have to be in your house.

The SCR turns on in the middle of half a line cycle, causing
the maximum very fast increase in voltage across the load.

Glad to hear you could fix it so easily.
