[R-390] what is it?

Hi

It's a bit tough to see from the pictures. Judging by the stuff on the 
front of the radio I would bet that it's been worked on fairly heavily 
by a ham. Certainly the replacement meters are a bit interesting. I 
can't even tell from the pictures weather the modification chassis has 
transistors plugged into it or Nuvistors ...

I don't think the modifications have increased the value of the radio 
any ....
