[R-390] Help with info on a STRANGE SP-600

That's interesting.....looks as though it can be racked up and control
within a band relinquished to one console mounted master receiver. It would
be fun to have a couple of those rigged up for diversity and attached to two
different antennas....say a Carolina Windom on one and a long wire or
inverted L on the other....bet that would take care of the selective fading
on SWL broadcasts....
Wire the audio outs to a stereo headphone jack or into a stereo amp and run
one on the left channel and the other on the right....
Sounds like great fun...
Kinda doing something like that with the R-1051 and it's double sideband
with two IF's and two Audio chains...has an unbelievable sound when zero
beat on an AM SW station.....fading all but disappears.
I guess that's what the JX-17 was designed for as well....with those nice
red knobs.....
Wasn't that also what Manson Labs did for the R-390A...or am I off base on
that one? (maybe they just added a master osc. for several rx's....)
