Well .. it's been 125 years, but they still sell a whole lot of candles and
kerosene lamps.  Wouldn't be amazed if the dollar volume of candles in 2004
exceeds that of 125 years ago (not necessarily adjusted for inflation).
Reasons?  Aside from power outages, the charm, the flicker, the aroma (as in
aroma therapy) and, that yellow-orange glow.  Hmmmmm.....  Hey! Some of the
same reasons for holding onto tube-based gear, eh?
