Hi Orrin,

        Don't run off mad (kidding)....I agree with the others....things
will settle down to our normal mail volume here soon.  Runs in cycles.

To answer your question you don't have to be subscribed at all to check the
archives.  I have browsed the archives of several lists on the qth.net
system that I have never been subscribed to just to check out what type of
stuff was discussed.

I am certainly not suggesting you unsubscribe.....

But I understand if it's not meeting your needs.....I dropped several lists
a few months back....The only National I own is an NC-183D and 95% of the
posts on the National list were about other models I had no interest in so I
ejected.  I figure I can search the archives for the 193D stuff as I need
it. Same goes for the Hammarlund SP-600...not much on the Hammarlund list
but I stayed with that one.....more info on the SP-600 here on the R-390
list than anywhere else.....
