[R-390] A few SP-600 questions

(I'm not familiar with that part - my SP-600's all have line cords going in 
through grommets as far as I know.)  Please replace what's there with a 
three wire grounded line cord.. AND:  move the tap on the power transformer 
to the higher voltage tap.  (The SP-600 is unusual in that it has this.)

Not at all stable. Forget any stability on 6 meters.

No problem. Just get an R-390 and use a crystal controlled converter down 
to 7 or 14 mc.

Normally they were two-conductor, SO-239-like connectors for twin coaxial 
cable. Many of them have been changed to SO-239's or BNC's.
