Ahhh..... yesssssssss.  The "ruptured duck" airlines.  The stories I could
tell.... they used to fly contract charter passenger hauls for the
military/gubment.

1978...I remember flying out of the old Orlando NAS once for home (headed to
Wisconsin) on one of their "new" DC-9's ... too overloaded, too short a
runway for a full fuel load so a divert to Nashville.  This is where we
"dropped in" (literally) during a big spring storm.... hit so hard all the
O2 masks dropped..... later... on arriving in Mpls we slid off the runway on
snow/ice.

All in all an uneventful flight for a charter...
