Friends,
In speaking of the "best" (one more time...!)...

We know the test gear, but has anyone ever operated
the early 50's, back to post war, rec.,by Anritsu?

Have a family friend who still speaks English poorly,
that was "the enemy" in the early 40's, (tho' he is
just a few years older than me),and he insists the mil
equip around '45-'52+ was as good as could be had. (He
came to this country in '55, at age 22...He was a
japanese el. engineer, and continued in America....)

As the modern equip. is so good, I wonder about the
radios..
