There ya' go ... What about the other three -- still have those?

Hmmmm, lemme see now ... I think I'd go with option #2. Living in a shed
is good for the soul. Well, maybe not.

May not be worth the trouble if the resulting voltage is right.

List out the dead bands to see if it makes sense with the crystal scheme.
If it's an odd assortment of non-contiguous bands, it's probably 2 crystals.
Try removing and reseating them -- some deoxit on the pins might help.

Maybe, but it may be the adjustment of the gain pot on top of the IF deck,
no?

IF deck covers? Often missing is the cover to the RF deck -- AKA "Utah"
cover, by reason of shape. Not clear what you mean by IF deck covers. The
only cover I can think of is the one for the mechanical filters. Then
there's the oven/cover for the crystal deck.

Well, sounds good, but don't fix what ain't broke. On the other hand,
gilding the lily is OK too, if it's in the pursuit of perfection.

Uh-oh, - batteries just died on my Enigma machine -- oh -- OK, nevermind --
many thanks and you too ...
