As long as you can get it back in where it belongs, powdered iron cores can
be glued with no problem.

Hi Gang,


 I lost sensitivity while listening on the 41 meter band. After removal of
the
 bottom cover, I noticed the slug had broken off and fallen out of the coil.

 I am hoping that somebody might have a spare powdered iron core. It is
from the RF rack in my R388 and it is the slug from L111 in the 4-7mc
section.

 If not, will crazy glue work? I have both parts.
