[R-390] 4kc filter repair?

Here's how I got one apart. Hang the filter about head high from a garage 
rafter, use a small wire tied to the end on the solder lug(s). Hang a weight 
to the outside shell so the filter balances vertically. Sweep a propane 
torch over the filter. When the solder melts, the shell will drop to the 
floor, leaving the innards intact.
