Dennis,
I'll probably have to join that group (if they'll have me).
This group, though, is pretty amazing. Within 45 minutes of posting, I have
two businesses with the tubes for $8 each as well as some "I have some tubes
I'd be glad to send you".
My initial search turned up some of the more expensive European brands at
$20+ each and that's what I was trying to avoid.

If you haven't found it already, you might try the "TekScopes" list
on Yahoogroups. There are some true experts hanging out there. I
have a 545A and a 531...but no spare tubes. Luckily, I haven't
needed them yet. These scopes just keep going, and going, and
going.....
