Okay, would any of you would-be attendees for Hosstraders happen to have
a couple spare gear clamps? I'm going to try to catch up with George
Rancourt to see if he'll bring a few up, but if not, I'd be willing to
pay whatever fair-market price is for a few of them. I know Fair sells
them, but I can barely find time to mail my bills, muchless get
organized enough to place an order for parts. Maybe after the firewood
is in?

Here's who I know will be attending so far:

John Flood
Roy Morgan
Mike Crestohl
Dave Roscoe (from the BA list, not sure if he's on here)
myself

I would expect to see John Kay, KA1XC there as well. Carl Huether KM1H
might be there too, I gave him a head's up on the dates. He goes to a
lot of car meets so if there's a show or meet, he'll be there instead.
Carl worked for National for years, even worked on the HRO-500 IIRC.
Larry, NE1S will probably be there.

In recent years there haven't been as many R-390 type radios there, but
usually at least 2-3. We got spoiled by the guy who used to bring a
truckload every time. Last year I saw John's Amelco, plus a pair offered
by another guy as 'parts or restore'($250 for the pair, not bad), and a
fairly clean (but overpriced) example sitting on the back of someone's
vehicle. Might see it back there again. Then there was the pile of
scruffy rackmount RA-17s for $500 each, but that was 2 years ago.
