If memory serves me correctly, folks have posted about Krylon not being 
as tough as they'd like, Dave. The consensus seemed to be that Rustoleum 
was a better choice. However, it sounds like that 'soft' tissue was 
actually abrasive, like a fine emery cloth perhaps? Seems to be the case 
too if you wipe your nose too often when you have a cold.

What sayeth the others?
