[R-390] Half moon guard?

Gene,
        This web site,    http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net    has some
very good information on purchasing new and used lathes .    I suggest
that you scan the archives.     The South Bend 9" Model A seems to be
very versatile and well made piece of equipment.   Great for making R
390-   parts. (there, I got the link in)
