I have restored two of the in the last couple of years. The problem I find
that is the most bothersom is the internal grounding points throughout the
modules. There are quite a few of grounding points that are not associated
with the tube socket mounts. The dissimilar materials that make most of the
grounding points will have a slight corrosion associated with them after
sitting so long in the weather. Other than that the parts mostly are in
fine shape. I would follow the capacitor replacement guidelines that are
outlined at Chuck's site and the restoration should go fine. Hope this
helps.
Sincerely,
Jim
