[R-390] Re: R-390A tag with A on it - field mod

My Dittmore-Freimuth Serial Number 62 has a stamped A on the tag obviously
after it was made.  The contact numbers match on most of the modules.  

There was a paper tag on the front panel as follows:

NOMEN = R-390A/URR
APL = 81039001
Serial = 00000S0062
NSG PIESIII 21 JUL 83

There was also a Dynamo Label 63182 002809

It had the Navy Mod for front panel AGC test point.  This is how it came
from Fair Radio.  Best I could ever come up with was the A was added at the
depot when this the mod was done.

P.S. I was looking at my maintenance log for the radio.  This one was
cleaned and lubed by me in 1996 using Hoppes gun cleaner, gun oil, and gun
grease. (This was before everyone became an expert.)  The KC knob can still
be turned with my little finger.  I was called a heretic then and probably
will be again:)
