The R-390A antenna relay pulls in to mute.
My '54 Motorola is sticky, doesn't always
pull in completely in spite of normal coil
voltage. I'll get to it soon. You might have
the same thing. Hook up a decent amount of antenna.
In CAL mode, can you hear stations? You should not
hear anything, not even faintly, except the calibrator.
