The R-390 Non-A uses a Non-ElectrolytiCapacitor for filtering. (If I recall 
correctly, 10 uF and pretty much a Non-Filter.  Those 6082's and related 
circuitry clean off most off the ripple (and that ain't Chuck, he spells it 
"Rippel"))  That cap, it ain't filled with uckumpucky, it be filled 
with....EARL!  (PCB at that).
