Jim,

While this thread is a bit useless, a little humor is much needed again. I
say 'again' because the last attempt at censoring humor made this list go
from being quite active to quite dead in just a day or two. It doesn't cost
anything to put up with other peoples humor for a few days. Fun is still
allowed, I hope. 

I gather that you are somewhat new to the list. Therefore, you may be
missing the old humor that goes back years. The A and non-A thread is
ancient. Maybe it is best to let the old topics continue so that this
formerly-great-list doesn't die a complete death. I suspect that we lost a
lot of good members a few months ago when a group of new guys started
p*ssing and moaning about our list. They ruined it for some of us who have
enjoyed it here for a long time. Guess what. Those chronic complainers seem
to have gone away now that the list is neutered. Don't hear from them
anymore. They contribute zilch. Hit and run. The rest of us are left with a
formerly-great-list that hardly has any message traffic now.

If humor isn't your style, there are a lot of other lists out there for you.
I vote for humor and that is why I still have hopes for this place.
