Haven't seen the real reason for "non-A" come out yet.
It's a crowd thing. Billions of R-390/A sets were made, and now
circulate with high demand. Almost no R-390 sets were made and
only a few people know about them. So we have the R-390/A owners
saying that they have R-390 sets, dropping the /A the way Brits
drop the 'h'. When they do make a disparaging remark about non-A,
what they really mean is 'not of our kind of people', not fit to
consume Earth's limitless resources, stuff like that.
Who was it that had the signature line, "You are not of our tribe.
We must kill you."?
