Gents- Ahhh, the tuning knob on the R-389 isn't correct...the heck with it !!!  ...Grin... BTW, I need some help. I recently bought a Hallicrafters S-27 & wonder if there is anyone here who is familiar w/these recievers. The tuning knob on mine is very loose, & I  wonder if there was a bushing or bearing thru the front panel that is missing on mine. Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated. -Sandy G.
