Hello, indeed...

Thanx for replys and interest in the r-390, r-390a
usage. It seems to come up from time to time..

I prefer the normal r-390 , and r-390a BUT...the
problem comes up that many, in particular new persons
in this field of interest, assume "390" is, well,
"390" (a).

It is true that I got in bad a bit a few yrs ago when
I began the idea of a separate group for the 390..(I
still have many of the names in my records...)It is in
fact not a good idea, so I guess we will use "non a"
to be sure of which we speak about...In part my
comments came as a reminder..I have seen the wrong
assumption several times in the last several months...

I assume in part also causing a prob, is that there
were (and are) many less 390's. The figures are all
over the board, but you are near with 16,000, and..
65,000 just in the "rough", so the 390 is much less
known.

As to the work David has done...Let me find out if it
would be helpful to the group, and what David thinks
about it..It is his own work after all, but he is
ALWAYS sharing..

By the way...Anybody want a RCA - Senior VoltOhmyst,
mod. WV-98B. (120 volt)? NO PROBES...Cond..slightly
altered I think...poor to fair..would need
service.(Its the one with the big meter face, and
center zero)

My regards to the list..

John
