[R-390] Finally!!! NOT!

Hi,

Not to beat a dead horse to bad but ....

Back quite a while I had a neutral lift off in the brand new house I was
living in. It's a fairly spectacular event even if it does happen fairly
slowly. Over the next year most of the neighbors also had the same exciting
experience. In almost all cases it was aluminum lead in wire and bad torque
on the clamp bolts. In most cases it was on the power companies end of the
circuit.

Once it was all done there was a *lot* less RFI in the neighborhood. I have
always wondered if complaining about the RFI more *might* have gotten the
problems spotted earlier and saved a whole lot of aggravation. It also would
have saved CP&L coming out at 2 AM in the morning to find the problem.

    Take Care!
