[R-390] Report on H.P. 8640B Sig Gen.

I recently got an HP 8640B myself, and it is
an absolutely fantastic signal generator=2E
When you remove the covers, you get to see the
quality that went into it=2E It looks like they
spared no expense to make it the best that they
were capable of making=2E It is one of the highest
quality instruments I have ever seen=2E

After reading the praises here on the list I decided to get a H=2EP=2E 864=

The generator arrived today so after a few hours warm up I ran it over the=

hurdles against a IFR1200
analyzer=2E  Everything on the 8640B worked perfectly!  When I zero beat t=
he
8640 against the IFR the
frequency error was ZERO!
I'm VERY happy with the 8640B=2E
