Thanks to members of this list who suggested I visit this museum in Virginia
City, Nevada, I was able to meet Henry and Sharon Rogers last week while my
wife and I were in Reno for a wedding.

Henry is an exceptionally nice person, who took time to show me around ....
and also to show me his work bench. Henry not only has a terrific museum
full of old military and civilian radios and transmitters, but he also has
some old spark gap equipment from the 1920's... And a wall full of old
tubes as well.

The items that really caught my attention, though, were these:
R-390 - Henry turned it on and we tuned in to the 40 meter net that was
operating. Great receiver.
AR-88 - In super shape
R-390A - Stewart-Warner ... Excellent shape
Johnson Kilowatt Tx -- complete with the matching desk. This is only the
second one I've ever seen. The first one was at Nick England's home in
Chapel Hill.
Hallicrafters console radio 1930's? -- superb condition; must be worth a
fortune.
Hammarlund Super Pro -- Model 400 -- Great condition and as sensitive as a
R-390.
Collins 75A4
Collins KWS-1
And many others that I cannot even recall now....

Thanks to all who suggested I visit the museum. If you're ever near
Virginia City,NV, visiting with Henry and seeing his museum is certainly
worth the trip! Meanwhile you can see most of what he has via
www.radioblvd.com.
