Unless the guy wanted more for the item, I'd guess it was a case of not
receiving your emails. Do you respond directly or use that chintzy epay
auto-response system that closely resembles spam? I've had several
instances where people ignored my instructions to respond directly
because of this and their emails were lost. It's just too easy when you
have an inbox full of spam to lose the big, fluffy ebay emails.
OTOH, if you did respond directly and the jerk chose to ignore you and
relisted the item for a higher price or reserve, fry him with negative
feedback as best you can. Don't forget to post a response to your
personal feedback as well, so people reading it get your side of the
story too.
It's all about accountability, and there's just too little of it in
today's world.
