[R-390] strange 390 problem

Hello list..

Glad to see that Dave is still good at finding
things...He found a couple for me..that seemed
"un-findable"..Still doing very well with my 390 on
SSB, following hams...also sometimes pick up some oil
people..(I am on the Gulf Coast..(Panama City))

(Please, someone comment on the following):::

Also: Am Offered Yaesu FT dx 400 (remember, I found a
manual w/schematic), for what he has in NOS repl.
tubes..Great on 80/40/20...dead on 15 and all four
10..He wants $195. It will need more repair it seems,
and align...(Its close enough to me to pick up...)

I only want it for the rec... Any comment, as I am
looking at 1051, or 390a, and others as well...Please
someone give me a hint as to getting it..even just to
keep as a relic..
