Friends,

Thanks for the suggestions for the possible repair
of my 390..will try to get to them...I will get the
radio up on the table this week, and see if I can
do some more checking. Thanks for expl. of how to
check different probs. in the RF...

Also, a warning. Don't expect the first repair to
"fix"
the radio and,

If you ever had Rheumatic Fever,as a child, DO NOT
LET ANYONE MESS WITH YOUR MOUTH WITHOUT AN ANTIBIOTIC.
Turns out to be my prob..Write personally if you want
the sad details...

Sorry to be off sub., but too many don't know this...
Have run into tens of cases since last week...
