[R-390] Gulf War 390A's?

What probably started this was an article in ER that stated that McCllelan 
AFB had a "get ready order" for R-390A's during the gulf war. But, they never 
carried it out due to the sudden ending. It is a "fact" about the KWM2A's. 
Several pallets of them were flown from down here at Keesler AFB to the 
desert. Of course, several stories circulated, one saying they were 
"back-ups" because the RF Harris stuff didn't have any problems. I know that 
was BS, the front diodes were popping like popcorn in them. I love it, "Toobs 
to the rescue"!!!
