If the hole is next to the BFO knob it's probably from The Navy Diode output
jack mod they did to facilitate quick alignment checks for rack mounted
units. If you really wish to fill it go to the local hardware store and get
some aluminum repair rods from the welding supply area. They melt using a
standard propane torch. back the panel with a steel plate & heat the area &
fill it in. After filling it down use auto body putty to fill in the
scratches. I have used the same method with 80/20 lead solder to fill holes
in steel panels ( Hammarund Super Pro ! ) with good results also. Jon
