It's in the -10 manual somewhere. It cautions about prolonged operation in
the standby position as component life can be shortened. I think30 minutes
is the max recommended, but I could be wrong.

Okay, I paused and looked it up. Page 24 of the -10. It says that the life
of certain tubes will be shortened if left in the standby mode for longer
than 30 minutes.
