On the Freq counter, Scope and DVM I certainly would get the most modern
money can buy.  You want to spend more time working on this equip than using
it??.  The HP 606 is a nice unit.  Try e-bay.  As for a tube tester, If you
want to spend a lot of money a Hickok 539c is a GREAT unit, and is well
documented and easily calibrated.  For the budget minded, you just can't
beat a TV-7.
